The last scoring race for the Spanish Championship of the speciality was held in Seville, from November 26 to 28: the I Baja Trans Andalusia. At stake were several Spanish trophies and championships, which were going to be decided in this last race of the season.
Although the race began on Friday, this day was dedicated to verifications and the podium ceremony. On Saturday the pure competition began with the celebration of the prologue and a section of 180 kilometers, to end on Sunday with another section of 180 kilometers.
VM Competición once again lined up 4 cars in this race:
Enrique Reyes with a new co-pilot, Victor Gonzalez, went aboard the VM T3 Ordaz-X from less to more, climbing positions little by little, and finishing in sixth place overall, and second in the T3 category, less than a minute of the first. What allowed them to be crowned champions of Spain in the T3 category.
Miguel Valero, together with Jaqueline Ricci, in the VM T4, made a magnificent prologue; but they had a mechanical problem in the first timed section and were forced to retire a few kilometers after the start.
Miguel Guillermo Valero and Alberto Sanchis, in their CanAm within the Spanish SSV Championship, suffered some mechanical problems and finished tenth first in the SSV category.
Ricardo Sanchez and Julian Villarubia, also aboard a CanAm, climbed to third position on the podium in the SSV category.
